The ministry of SHFBC is led by a staff with pastors, ministry support staff and is deacon supported. However, the members of SHFBC are the ones equipped to do the ministry everyday. The church staff helps support and enable this work and the church’s day-to-day operations in a variety of ways.
Keith Brickell
Mr. Brickell is entering into his 20th year as pastor of SHFBC. He graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with an MDiv. He is the Chair of the ALCA School Board. He has served many years as Treasurer of the North Pulaski Baptist Association. He is married to Marilyn, who is a school teacher within PCCSD. They have three grown children. They also have six grandchildren. Brickell cooks some Wednesday night meals, makes a mean cheesecake, and a chocolate cake that he won’t give up the recipe.
Taylor Cain
Cain is entering his third year as Associate Pastor. In his role, he oversees youth ministry, men’s ministry, and Sunday morning Bible study. He is also the 12th grade Bible teacher at ALCA, oversees chapel, and discipleship events throughout the year. He graduated from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (2020, M.Div, 2022, MABC). He is married to Callie. They have three daughters.
Braden Wilson
Wilson has served in SHFBC Kids for five years. He oversees Vacation Bible School, Camp Siloam children’s camp, and Fall Fun Fest. He is a teacher at Cabot Public Schools. He has graduated from Arkansas State University with his Master’s of Education. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Divinity at New Orleans Theological Seminary. He is also pursuing chaplaincy within NAMB. He is married to Jessica.
Leah Campbell
Mrs. Campbell directs the choir on Sunday mornings and leads the worship team. She selects songs and coordinates practices. She also leads Let Leah LLC and is a successful REALTOR with RE/MAX Homefinders Realty. She is married to Chris. They have three adult children.
Kelly Chandler
Mrs. Chandler has served SHFBC for over 25 years! She manages the church office, puts together the bulletin, tracks church data, manages the church calendar, and performs other tasks. She is married to Todd. They have three grown children. She is the mimi to six grandchildren!
Ruth York
Mrs. York has been on staff at SHFBC for over 25 years! She oversees the finances of both the church, Mother’s Day Out, and the school. She is married to Scottie. They have three grown children.
